As your business seeks approval of permits and licenses, there are several points of contact with both community groups and government departments. We always encourage utilizing our services as early as possible, which allows us to engage community in the first phase of your project. Our philosophy is grounded in our belief that community input can be integrated without compromising project goals, timelines, and dividends.

Depending on your current phase of development, we price based upon our involvement in the following four categories:

   Ideas and Financing

At the beginning stages of any project there is a period of brainstorming and design charrettes. We work with you to troubleshoot potential conflicts with neighborhood plans and politics. This might include us presenting to area residents and the community groups that serve them.  We will also research area financing opportunities that may intersect with the location of your project. This is a delicate phase and we work with our clients to determine the best approach without jeopardizing proprietary information.

   City & County Application

Once you are ready to submit your application to the City or County, you will be informed of the "community notification" process. This is a critical phase because your next steps will determine whether your project is viewed as an asset or a disruption. We will approach residents through door-knocking, petition procurement, organizational committees, and community meetings. By using our outreach expertise, you can shorten this project phase by weeks, if not months.

   Approval

You have successfully navigated through the community process, now it's time to rally your supporters.  Nothing impresses a City official more than a room full of constituents and other letters of praise. We will stay in constant contact with those who are excited by your ideas and work to deliver their enthusiasm to the podium of all your public hearings.

   Appeal

Unfortunately, sometimes the government does not agree with your perspective. If your city or county application is denied by staff, a committee, or commission, your last hope is to appeal to a higher authority.  We will activate a public relations campaign and seek out a broader range of support.  Your project is more than the space in which it occupies. The economy of our region needs your venture.
